Almaz (she/her) is an award-winning, multi-disciplinary Creative Copywriter and Freelance Journalist. She is Content Lead at anti-racism brand strategy agency Brand By Me. Her creative portfolio includes: digital content strategy, ghostwriting, scripting, above-the-line advertising, consumer brand messaging, corporate comms, anti-racism strategy and long-form journalism.

Almaz writes and speaks on sexuality, equity and anti-racism for a range of outlets and brands including BBC Radio 4, British Vogue, The Bookseller, Campaign, Stylist, Hunger, Vice and the Wellcome Collection. She is part of the Reproductive Justice Initiative (previously Decolonising Contraception) – a community interest group working within sexual and reproductive health – and columnist for Female Health & Fertility magazine.

Almaz founded ‘Kayleigh Daniels Dated’, a web platform combining sexy stories with informative sexual health features, in 2018 and produces Substack email newsletter ‘She Dares To Say’, where she publishes bi-monthly written pieces for her audience of many hundreds of subscribers.

She is also a classically trained violinist and has appeared on stage, national television and at music festivals with several collectives.
