Accessibility ♿️

Updated: August 2022

General

Almaz Ohene strives to ensure that her content and services are accessible to disabled people. Almaz Ohene has invested to help ensure that her website is made easier to use and more accessible for people with disabilities.

Development

This website was developed by Jessica OddiΒ in 2021, using Elementor and WordPress. She followed WCAG 2.1 standards to the best of her ability, within the limitations of the Elementor platform at the time. Bugs can be expected within the search form or other embedded elements outside of the developer’s control. Features include alt text, transcripts, keyboard navigation, readability and on-going practices.

Disclaimer

In 2022 Almaz Ohene and Jessica Oddi removed the UserWay overlay app, based on disability advocate recommendations within the community. They continue their efforts to constantly improve accessibility and services, in the belief that it is our collective moral obligation to allow seamless, accessible and unhindered use for all.

Some content elements may not be fully adapted to individual access accommodations. This may be a result of not having found or identified the most appropriate technological solution, or it not showing up as an issue on major assistive technologies.
