Almaz Ohene(she/her) is an award-winning, multi-disciplinary Creative Copywriter and Freelance Journalist. She is a Creative Copywriter at Oxfam and Content and Copywriting Partner at anti-racism brand strategy agency Brand By Me in addition to her freelance/contract work. Her creative portfolio includes: digital content strategy, ghostwriting, scripting, above-the-line advertising, consumer brand messaging, corporate comms, anti-racism strategy and long-form journalism.
Almaz writes and speaks on sexuality, equity and anti-racism for a range of outlets and brands including BBC Radio 4, Black Lives Matter UK, British Vogue, The Bookseller, Campaign, Stylist, Hunger, Vice and the Wellcome Collection. She is part of the Reproductive Justice Initiative (previously Decolonising Contraception) – a community interest group working within sexual and reproductive health – and columnist for Female Health & Fertility magazine.
She founded ‘Kayleigh Daniels Dated’, a web platform combining sexy stories with informative sexual health features, in 2018. Almaz also and produces the Substack email newsletter ‘She Dares To Say’, an independent writing and audio project exploring sexuality, intimacy, and cultural memory through essays, interviews, and experimental storytelling.
Almaz is also a classically trained violinist and has appeared on stage, national television and at music festivals with several collectives.

I craft immersive and intimate scripts that make people feel something. From erotic audio stories and guided intimacy sessions to narrative-led brand content, I bring authenticity and relatability to every script. I’ve written for audio apps Dipsea, Ferly and Pocket FM, and have also done corporate videos, too.
