Almaz (she/her) is an award-winning Creative Copywriter (independent) and Freelance Journalist (represented by Milly Reilly at Jo Unwin Literary Agency). Her creative portfolio includes: above-the-line advertising, consumer brand messaging, digital content strategy, ecommerce writing, corporate comms, scripting, and long-form journalism.
Founder of ‘Kayleigh Daniels Dated’, a web platform combining sexy stories with informative sexual health features, she also writes on sexuality for leading publications including British Vogue, Campaign, HUNGER, Reﬁnery29, Stylist and VICE. She is part of the Decolonising Contraception Collective – a community interest group working within sexual and reproductive health – and is also a collaborator with the School of Sexuality Education (formerly Sexplain), an independent organisation running inclusive and comprehensive sex ed workshops in schools.
Almaz is also a classically trained violinist and has appeared on stage, national television and at music festivals with several London collectives. She holds a BA in English from the University of Southampton (2011) and a post-graduate Diploma in Multimedia Journalism from News Associates (2012).
